FasciaFlow
Myofascial Release + Wellness
A hands-on, whole body approach to decrease pain, release tension, improve mobility, and restore balance in both body and mind.
What is Fascia?
Fascia is a complex network of connective tissue that envelops muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels, and organs throughout the body. It provides structural support from the skin to the cellular level. Healthy fascia allows fluid movement, but factors like poor posture, stress, injury, or surgery can cause it to become rigid, leading to pain and reduced mobility. Because fascia is highly innervated with sensory nerves, it is constantly communicating with the brain, forming a mind-body connection.
How can Myofascial Release help?
The traditional medical approach typically treats the symptoms of chronic or unexplained pain, resulting in temporary relief. Myofascial release (MFR) is a gentle, hands-on approach that not only treats the symptoms, but also addresses the underlying cause. This provides long-lasting results and authentic healing.
Each session begins with a full body assessment to check alignment and fascial restrictions. Clients are given personalized treatment based on their unique needs. The sustained pressure into the fascia releases tension, improves mobility, enhances circulation, and restores balance.
If you have pain that hasn’t responded to traditional treatment, MFR may offer a solution to improve your quality of life and overall well-being.
